E-Flite Apprentice S 15e RTF Mode 1 or Mode 2 - please advise at time of purchase
Get the Best Flight Instruction With the E-Flite Apprentice S
One of the most intelligent RTF RC planes available, the Apprentice S 15e from E-Flite is a groundbreaking model. At its core is the innovative Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope (SAFE) technology, which makes flying incredibly easy, even for the least experienced pilot. The spatial awareness in this model aircraft gives you flight envelope protection that adds a level of security never before available. Combined with its smooth flight capability, this E-Flite remote control plane can handle windy conditions so that control is always crisp and responsive. Various levels of flight envelope protection are provided with the Apprentice, so you can reduce, and remove, this security measure as your skills progress. Rest assured, there is a "panic" function available to instantly return the model r/c plane to level flight if you ever lose orientation.

The Apprentice S has a high-wing design similar to the Cessna 150 and can be assembled in minutes. Its quiet brushless power system delivers outstanding performance. The flights you experience with this model plane will be long and enjoyable. Because it is constructed from lightweight Z-Foam material (similar to that seen in the E-Flite Splendor), the Apprentice can handle everyday flying punishment without losing its shape. Once you have mastered the flying basics, this remote control plane can perform a range of aerobatic maneuvers such as loops, rolls and even inverted flight. With the optional Apprentice S floats (sold separately under the product code EFLA550), you can turn this model into a great floatplane. Beginners' RC planes do not come better than the E-Flite Apprentice S 15e. Order yours now.

RTF vs. BNF - What is the Difference?
You may have noticed how some products are listed as "RTF" and others are classified as "BNF". There is an important difference between the two. RTF is an abbreviation for "ready-to-fly". As the name suggests, RTF products come with everything you need to start flying included in the box. On the other hand, BNF stands for "Bind-N-Fly". In BNF products, the radio transmitter required to control the model is sold separately.
